Please read these Terms carefully. They explain your rights and responsibilities when you use Ava, and ours when we provide it.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Ainoize ("we", "us") and govern your use of Ava, including our iOS and Android apps, website and related services (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Overview of Ava
Ava is an AI executive assistant. It can:
- Prepare briefings for your meetings using your calendar and email.
- Record, transcribe and summarise meetings you choose to record.
- Create and manage tasks, delegated tasks, reminders and calendar events.
- Send morning and evening briefs and other notifications you turn on.
- Respond to your requests by voice or text, in English and Indian languages.
Features may change as we improve the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use Ava on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
4. Your Account
- You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. You must provide a number you own and keep access to it.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your device secure.
- Tell us immediately at hello@ainoize.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Record any person or conversation without the notice or consent required by law.
- Break any law, or infringe anyone's privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
- Send spam, harass others, or create content that is unlawful, harmful or abusive.
- Access another person's account, calendar or email without authorisation.
- Probe, disrupt, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the Service.
- Copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
We may suspend or remove access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
6. Meeting Recordings and Consent
Ava records only when you start a recording. You are solely responsible for informing everyone in a meeting that it is being recorded and for obtaining any consent required under applicable law before you record. Do not record conversations where recording is prohibited.
7. Integrations with Third-Party Services
Ava can connect to third-party services such as Google Calendar and Gmail. When you connect a service, you authorise Ava to access it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy or practices. You can disconnect any service at any time from within the app.
8. AI-Generated Content
Ava uses artificial intelligence to produce briefings, transcripts, summaries and suggestions. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate — for example, a transcript may mishear a name, or a summary may miss a detail.
Review important information before relying on it. Ava does not provide legal, financial, medical or other professional advice, and you are responsible for decisions you make using the Service.
9. Your Content
You own the content you create or bring into Ava, including your notes, tasks, recordings, transcripts and summaries. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding and the Ava name and logo, belongs to Ainoize and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in line with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
11. Early Access and Beta Features
Ava is currently offered in early access, and some features may be marked as beta. Early access and beta features may change, be limited or be withdrawn, and may contain errors. They are provided to help us improve the Service.
12. Termination
You can stop using Ava at any time and delete all of your data from your Profile screen. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service — in which case we will give you reasonable notice where we can.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or meet your specific requirements, including that reminders or notifications will always be delivered on time.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ainoize will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, business or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you have not paid us anything.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by other means before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
